2013 Porsche Cayenne Diesel launched in the U.S market





The 2013 Porsche Cayenne Diesel has been unveiled at the U.S market by the German automaker in the 2012 New York International Auto Show. The new Cayenne diesel will feature a eficient and powerful 3.0 Liter V6 engine pumping out 240 horsepower and will supply 406 lb.-ft of torque to the wheels. The car is claimed to be very fuel efficient by the manufacturer. Porsche also claims with the full tank filled up the Cayenne diesel's range is upto 740 miles. That is quite impressive according to us. It uses a 8-speed Tiptronic S transmission and also an auto start stop function. Price: $ 55,750

The result is strong 0-60 mph acceleration in just 7.2 seconds and a top track speed of 135 mph. That performance is complemented by best in class fuel economy – based on preliminary internal estimates, the Cayenne Diesel is estimated to achieve a rating of 20 mpg city / 28 mpg highway / 23 combined on its U.S. EPA label.
